Prevention First: Strong Communities, Strong Workforce Micro-Credentialling Program

The Prevention First: Strong Communities, Strong Workforce Micro-Credentialling Program is an online, practical, self-paced learning for Queensland’s Social and Emotional Wellbeing (SEWB) workforce.

Build your skills, look after your wellbeing and earn a digital microcredential.

Why is this training important?
SEWB work is demanding, and many workers support their own communities. Extra cultural load, exposure to trauma and the pressure to fix things for everyone can lead to emotional exhaustion and burnout. This program gives you practical skills for working alongside people and for protecting your own wellbeing, so you can keep doing the work.

Who is the training for?
Queensland’s SEWB workforce, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health and wellbeing workers, and non-indigenous colleagues who work alongside them.

Delivery, duration, cost:
Mode: Online, self-paced
