Caring for your kidneys

Caring for your kidneys, along with dialysis treatment options are resources which examine chronic kidney disease (CKD) and our mob.

These booklets provide information on the stages of chronic kidney disease, managing your kidney health, caring for your general health, the importance of good nutrition as well as activities to improve your general health.

The project was funded by Queensland Health.

QAIHC has developed these resources in partnership with Gurriny Yealamucka Health Service Aboriginal Corporation, Mamu Health Service Limited, Mulungu Aboriginal Corporation Primary Health Care Service, Wuchopperen Health Service Limited, the Cairns Hospital Renal Department and Northern Queensland Primary Health Network (NQPHN).
