QAIHC Member Engagement team
QAIHC’s Member Engagement team plays a vital role in supporting its Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community controlled health organisation (ACCHO) Members across Queensland. Each Member Engagement Lead is dedicated to a specific region and serves as the primary point of contact for the Member services within that region.
The team’s role is to build strong, responsive relationships with each Member by:
- Providing support to ACCHOs on matters relating to governance, workforce, service delivery, and operational priorities.
- Advocating for regional needs at a state and national level by elevating issues, opportunities, and solutions identified by our Members.
- Facilitating communication between QAIHC, our Members, and key stakeholders to ensure alignment, accountability, and responsiveness.
- Support policy development, funding applications, and strategic initiatives that aim to strengthen the capacity and sustainability of community-controlled health services.
- Collaborating closely with QAIHC’s corporate, policy, and clinical teams to ensure Members’ voices inform the work we do.
By working in and with Community, QAIHC’s Member Engagement team ensures the organisation’s support is grounded in local knowledge and driven by the priorities of our Members.
