The Queensland Aboriginal and Islander Heath Council (QAIHC), the Queensland Indigenous Substance Misuse Council (QISMC) and the Queensland Government have partnered to support front line workers to better respond to people affected by problematic crystal methamphetamine (Ice) and other drug use.
In May this year, QAIHC secured funds from the Queensland Government to deliver the “AOD-OUR-WAY” project which includes the half-day ‘Crystal Clear Workshop’. This QAIHC workshop provides front line staff with background information on Ice, as well as practical tools, interventions and resources so they can better respond to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and families impacted by methamphetamine use.
The workshop is being delivered to front line community service/health workers in targeted areas across Queensland. The following workshops are planned or October, so please follow the link to your preferred ‘AOD-Our-Way’ Crystal Clear workshop for more information and to register online:
