Celebrate the individuals and organisations making an outstanding contribution to Queensland’s Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community controlled health organisation sector, with winners announced across six award categories and induction into the QAIHC Hall of Fame.

QAIHC 2026 Awards for Excellence Gala Dinner
Nominations are open! Help QAIHC recognise the individuals and organisations making an outstanding contribution to Queensland’s Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community controlled health organisation sector.
QAIHC Members are invited to submit nominations across the six Awards for Excellence categories, and for induction into the QAIHC Hall of Fame. Each category winner receives a $1,500 cash prize.
Award categories:
- QAIHC Member of the Year
- QAIHC Leader of the Year
- QAIHC Youth Advocate of the Year
- QAIHC Innovation Excellence Award
- QAIHC Partnership Excellence Award
- QAIHC Patient Satisfaction and Service Excellence Award
Hall of Fame: Nominations are also open for induction into the QAIHC Hall of Fame.
Nominations close: 6:00pm, 30 August 2026

The Gala Dinner
Winners will be announced at the QAIHC 2026 Awards for Excellence Gala Dinner, including the Hall of Fame induction.
When: Wednesday 21 October 2026, 6:00pm – 10:00pm
Where: Sofitel Gold Coast Broadbeach, 81 Surf Parade, Broadbeach
The evening includes a three course dinner, beverages and entertainment.
