The Queensland Aboriginal and Islander Health Council (QAIHC) is looking for a motivated and experienced Senior Workforce Support Coordinator to join our dynamic Workforce Development team.
This is your opportunity to make a tangible difference—supporting Aboriginal and Islander Community Controlled Health Organisations (AICCHOs) across Queensland by coordinating funded training pathways, strengthening workforce development systems, and helping to grow a skilled and sustainable Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health workforce.
In this senior role, you will lead key elements of program delivery and provide strategic coordination support for QAIHC’s state-wide workforce development initiatives.
You’ll work with within a supportive team with autonomy to:
- Coordinate training EOIs and manage enrolments
- Support AICCHOs and students through their training journeys
- Engage with RTOs to ensure culturally safe training delivery
- Monitor trainee progress and contribute to reporting and funding milestones
- Provide strategic input to improve training pathways and workforce outcomes

- A genuine commitment to cultural safety and working respectfully with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities

Additional information.
- A probationary period of six (6) months will apply to appointees.
